and 3 is commissioned. The shallops are equipped with torpedo launchers.
Lieutenant Sigurd Bojesen is assigned the first commander. |

The builder Philip de Lange's drawings for a mast crane on Nyholm,
Copenhagen is approved by royal resolution. |

Crown Prince Frederik, the later King Frederik the IXth, is promoted Sub Lieutenant after graduating from the Naval Academy, thereby becoming the first Danish crown prince, who has completed the full navy training. |
